Hello! My name is Michael Dennis. The beautiful woman in the picture is my wife. Her name is Holly. She has a blog as well. Check it out and take some time to get to know her. We have two children. Kennedy is our oldest and the red head in the picture is Tucker. They are a blast! We are in the middle of starting a new church in Austin, TX, North Village Church.

In 2009 Jesus put a desire in our heart that church could be different. What if church could be more than just a place where you felt guilty, hypocritical, and hung out with a bunch of people that you didn’t really know. What if it could be different? What if it could be a blessing to the local community? What if it could be more than just a building that was empty six days a week? What if it could be different?

That desire resulted in us starting a new church in North Central Austin and I couldn’t imagine us doing anything different with our lives. We love it!
